I have been searching for the ‘right’ blush for my skin tone for a while now. But what exactly do you class as the ‘right one’? Well for starters, if i am intending on trying different ones, I should get different shades as oppose to similar ones I already have.
My recent purchases at the Mac counter have been two blushes in the shades, Modern Mandarin (Powder Blush) and Feeling Flush (Mineralize Blush).
I have heard that orange tones suite really light skin tones especially if they have blue eyes, but I thought I would give this product a whirl to see how I liked the Modern Mandarin. Nothings better than trying it out yourself, right? I actually really liked it. Blending it into my cheeks well gave a glowing effect to my cheeks, just like a highlight but without all the shimmer which I absolutely hate. I would say it is very suitable for the summer months and quite build-able if you prefer a brighter appearance to the cheeks.
I loved the mineralize blush and how pretty it looked. I didn’t want to swatch it at first, but this tone is quite warm on my cheeks. The purple and pink colours blended together are great and the finish is not like another blushes I have, so a great addition to my collection.
I am trying to expand my mac products collection, but without getting bankrupt, so I decided I will treat my self every so often… But saying that, I want to try lots of different brands because bloggers can make things look so good, you have the same product as them as soon as you say ‘oooh’.
