This outfit is what I wore to the daisystreet event a few weeks ago. However in the pictures I hardly wore my jacket, so now you can see the full look.
The dress has been sat in my wardrobe for a while now ever since I bought it. It was time to unleash it from its misery and put it to good use. This statement piece is very bright and has a beautiful neck detail that really does not need any necklace jewelry at all. I find some pieces of clothing just don’t need to be over shadowed by the heaviness jewellry can sometimes add. I love taking in the waist with a belt, so I went for the ‘tie the rope’ look.
The purple cardigan is so thin so just right to wear under the jacket for layering up, but very classy indeed. I love the way it fits and I will most often wear it as a three-quarter sleeve.
The thick black tights from Primark have become my besties this winter, can’t go very wrong. I wouldn’t cry if they ripped and got old quickly but they have not failed me.
These dainty shoes were bought in the boxing day sales in Barratts about 3 years ago. £7, I must still be dreaming because this was such a good bargain it was kind of unreal. They have lasted me long and still in pretty good condition. Just the perfect height for having to wear them for hours. I am still on the look out for sales to top that!
For this event, my bag was used more as a clutch but I still used the long strap to and from the venue so I rocked it both ways 🙂
