As it’s the last day of the year, I thought I would put together an outfit lookbook sort of thing. I got inspired after trying out lots of different clothes for the celebrations tonight. I hope you like and probably get some inspirations from them.
Number 1 -Going for Gold
This outfit just reminds me of the wonderful fire works display that goes off on New Years. The colours are quite classy I think but I love the length the most. I have been on the search for a long sleeved dress that falls just below the knee with a tight pencil fit at the bottom. Guess what… I went crazy and bought a few different colours but this one suits the occasion a lot more. There was a half price offer at fdavenue at the time so this was like £7! I don’t think they sell this dress anymore but there is a sale now on so go and check it out!
I won these Lita dupes from Barratts for doing a good deed recently so was over the moon about that! Ideally I wanted the studded leather like boots, Truffle Stud Trim Lace Up Ankle Boots but they ran out of my size. The reason why I love these so much is because I have been contemplating JC Litas but I know I won’t wear them as much as I’d like to for what they are worth. These are very identical and actually quite comfy too!
Number 2– Lady in red
This dress was the one I wore to the #bbloggersxmas event in London. I thought it was so appropriate for the xmas theme and still is. The material is gorgeous as it is really soft and the black is that of a velvet feel. I also love how it goes out at the bottom like a pwincess 🙂 haha I saw this in TKmaxx and once I saw the price tag of £16.99, I grabbed it up as this had been the type of dress I was looking for.
The shoes I paired it with were in the New Look sale for £8 and are at such a comfortable height.

Number 3– Disco Disco
This outfit is very comfortable with the flats. I made it slightly dressy with the netted shawl and the disco pants which can swing both casual and formal. You could even add a pair of heels to this if you wish to visualise it like that. Peplums are very flattering to add shape to the waist and were £8 when I got the but now £3 in Primark. Got get them! haha
So there it is, my three New Year’s Eve looks put together by personal looks I wanted to achieve but of course can be adapted.
Here is a mood board of additional outfits that caught my fancy:
I hope you liked the inspirations. I’m still wondering what to wear.
What are you wearing tonight?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
