Review: Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer

Burt’s Bees has always been one of those product I would love to have in my possession. Known to be made from truly natural ingredients, this appealed to me.

This Lip Shimmer is exactly the length of my middle finger, just so you know the size.  It appears as a very light pink with lots of shimmer in the actual balm. When applied on the lips, it moisturises the lips straight away and gives a slight tingle which is quite minty. I assume this Peppermint flavour aids plump looking lips. You may like this, you may not, but I think this is very refreshing. It is different to its other basic lip balms as it leaves a pearlised shine which can highlight the inner part of the lip, or be worn alone. I do find that it leaves a herbal smell behind, which you might have already guessed.

The lip shimmer comes in 12 different shades: Cherry, Plum, Strawberry, Caramel, Champagne, Fig, Guava, Peony, Radiance, Raisin, Raisin, Rhubarb and Watermelon

The ingredients are vitamin E, shea butter, bees wax, coconut and sunflower oil so all very natural and useful for the skin.

This Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer currently retails at £5.99* and is great to prevent chapped lips but in a glamorous way.

Have you tried any Burt’s Bees products?
