When you think of Ugg Australia, do you think of the well known Ugg boots Joey Essex style, or the variety of other shoes and accessories you can buy from the brand?
On Thursday, I was invited down to the Leeds Ugg Australia shop to preview the “Meet Me In Marrakech” Spring/Summer 2013 collection which is full of bold jewel tones, ornate prints and decorative textures all influenced by the beautiful style the city of Marrakech has to offer. Get me a plane ticket, I want to go now!

This collection showcases woven straps and snake prints. If you look closely you can see the jewel tones on the shoes. From the picture above you can see that there are flats or wedges with similar decor print in different colours.

The Moroccan ethnic vibes come alive in all forms, whether that be high heels, casual wedges or scandals for a stroll on the beach. As well as the warm beige and brown colours, the vibrant colours stand out so much, I feel I would need every colour to make up the rainbow in my closet!

You will find that with every shoe, slipper or boots, there is a soft padded sole which makes it extremely comfy to wear. Also some of the shoes have added comfort at the back of the foot to prevent those nasty blisters that come out of nowhere.  |

Some people love their Uggs for an all year round necessity, so the new edition with the burnt red/ orange colour and the wooden beads with suede tassels are very exotic and appealing to the eyes. PLUS the Bailey charm is removable so you can chop and change whenever you fancy a little change.

I love the detailing of these shoes, not just any black heeled shoe, but Moroccan meshed holes that allow a Summery feel, especially when you allow some skin to peep through paired with a flowing dress. You can see I have an outfit planned around this already 😉
