Last week I was invited along to the Neal Yard Remedies event in Manchester. Lately I have been fortunate on the event side of things which I certainly cannot complain about. I was most looking forward to this evening because I had heard nothing but great things about this brand and wanted to experience more about it first hand.
When I arrived I was greeted with pleasant faces and offered delicious food and drinks. I had the chance to really look at the products they offered and I must say, they have a great range for individual needs.
Neal’s Yard offer organic skincare to enhance health, wellbeing and also makeup which I was amazed to find out myself. With the use of different herbs and ingredients they can be of benefit for different purposes and do not contain synthetic fragrance, parabens or mineral oils. Because I have oily skin, I was advised that the palmarosa herb oil is great at mattifying and balancing out the oils of the skin.
I had an extremely relaxing hand massage which was a taster of their therapies they offer. Mine was done with the Geranium and Orange hand lotion which smelt… divine leaving my arms very relaxed. They also offer de-stressing treatments for the face, shoulder, scalp, massages, osteopathy, reflexology and more! Whilst having a lovely chat with the masseuse, I learnt that the British brand Neal’s Yard in fact originated in Covent Gardens London in 1981.
Did you know the blue bottles keep the light out and the products fresher longer?
I had a lovely time and met some lovely bloggers that day too. One of the things I am loving right now is the White Tea Facial Mist which I was gifted as it is keeping me cool and collected in this hot weather.
