For this post I collected all of my seasonal favourite eyeshadows. Some are in palettes and some are individual but all have a theme of warm autumnal colours. My favourite has to be plum/burgundy/cranberry colour. I had to mention all as they are very similar.
I will list the shades or the names of the palettes if you want to check them out yourselves.
Inglot Quad
(TL)450, (TR)399, (BL)402, (BR)421.
This was a purchase made at Imats this year and I love it to bits! The great thing with Inglot is that you can personalise your eyeshadow combinations. Considering how busy the environment was etc, the colours I chose could not compliment any more than they do. The one I use the most is 450.
Avon True Colour: Cocoa Dreams
Avon can be overlooked as a brand on the whole, however the quad is beautiful. Warm/neutral colours that could be worn in the day is what you find in this palette. Full of shimmer, so I personally use these in the inner or outer corners.
MAC + Soap and Glory
Ricepaper is the only MAC product in this quad which can be used to highlight. The Soap and Glory colours are more autumnal with the burnt brown and smokey colours. The pigmentation was surprisingly good when I first tried these out too.
Wet n Wild
I got this in a swap ages ago and love all the colours in this ‘Petal Pusher 736’ set. The only colour I use less of it the browbone shade. Highlighting that area does not work for me. Does it not with anyone else?
Inika
This mineral eyeshadow can be very messy so it takes extra care when handling it but the finish is superb! The shade explains for it’s self why it is thee product for autumn ‘Autumn plum’. This came in a glossybox last year.
Calvin Klein
This shade ‘100 expose’ is something I used more in summer but it contrasts well with some of the dark purple colours.
MUA
MUA is as cheap as chips and transfer really well! This shade I would repurchase over and over again as it is a gorgeous cross between gold and plum.
Most of these shades I would mix together for a gradient effect because Winter is all about layering. If you can do that with clothes, you can definitely do it with beauty items.
Which was your favourite colour?
