Gleneagles Hotel and Collection Press Launch

Last week I was invited to the Gleneagles Hotel Scottish Press Day which turned out to be a splendid afternoon. This corporate event was held at the Good Houskeeping Institute which was a great location in Soho.
Gleneagles is a world’s famous 5* Hotel based on the 850 acres of Perthshire grounds roughly 600 miles from where I am now!
Finding out more about who the Hotel cater for, what activities there are to do on the grounds, and restaurants on site to eat at was very mind blowing. I definitely want to visit this place in person.
232 luxurious bedrooms, 14 event suites, award winning ESPA spa and Michelin-starred restaurants and just some of the many things Gleneagles Hotel has to offer their visitors.

When we arrived we were greeted by some rather friendly faces, cocktails and canapés.

Sampling a great selection of some food served at the hotel itself by the chefs themselves were a great touch! It all tasted so lovely!

It was confirmed that the hotel was putting their final touches to the Gleneagles Arena which is expected to open on the 2nd May 2015. Very exciting news as every year the hotel is always incorporating new improvements.

The Hotel has a few top Restaurants and Bars which all look pretty lavish!

I had a spot of golf training which was so cool but just imagine actually playing it over the immaculate greens of Gleneagles. I always knew I was a professional! Not, but I didn’t do too bad… so the instructor told me. This was just one of the many activities you can do on your retreat to the hotel.

Other Activities include; Shooting, fishing, off road driving, equestrian schooling, Gundog schooling, school of falconry and of course facilities for children.

What caught my attention right from the beginning was the ESPA Spa facilities. I love ESPA so finding out about their 20 treatment rooms, pool, relaxing pampering haven and salon made my eyes light up!

This Spring Gleneagles have launched their own leather retail range. Representing heritage and quality along with style and modern accessories essential for a weekend away. The large weekend bag is easily my favourite pick!

Overall you sense the wealthy vibes of this hotel and what it has to offer. Especially when you have the option to pay for the finest bottles of whisky or cigars to give you extended privileges of  the Blue Bar. This amazes me! Who wouldn’t want to be sat on heated seats in the courtyard.

Does this look like somewhere you want to visit?
