I came to the realisation last week that I just don’t take as much time exploring new places as I used too. Life can be so much of a whirl wind, trapping you into a cycle of routine and neglecting that spontaneity. This thought made me quickly pick up my car keys, put on my boots and set off into the northern countryside. I forgot my scarf but I’m sure you can imagine how crisp the air was on this particular day.
These extremely comfy Hotter Shoes Belle boots in Plum are a new addition which go perfectly with my hair… don’t you think? When I say new, I already own a black pair which you can find here but you can never own too many pairs. When you find the right pair of buckled detail shoes which you know will last a lifetime… invest! That’s my motto. I was lucky enough to be gifted this pair which have the most effective grip making it very practical and yet so stylish.
After visiting the Leeds store, I experienced the tailored shoe fitting service which is completely free and widely available to anyone who wishes to use it. Jennifer was kind enough to talk me through the process of measuring the length and width of each foot.
As expected, I measured up to a standard size UK 7 so got my shoes according to this. Many people have one foot bigger than the other so, it was interesting to know that my right foot is slightly bigger. Hotter Shoes have a wide selection of half sizes if needed.
This long flowing blouse has the most gorgeous arm cut out detail which I will leave for a warmer day haha! To finish off the casual look, the biker jacket really does compliment the light peach top. Initially I thought that it would be hard styling outfits around my purple hair but definitely not. I was asked If I would get much wear out of these purple boots and the answer was ‘YES’ straight away. People have always told me that the colour purple suits my complexion and also I am so very drawn to it when shopping. Well… that aside from burgundy!
Overall I just love this countryside vibe and I need to shoot in more locations like this!
Notice the dog in the background which looks so cute… from afar. I am 100% terrified of dogs but after hearing dogs can sense fear from a mile off, I had to pretend I was cool with it sniffing around my ankles >_<
What colours have you been told that suit you?
