Last weekend I got the chance to travel back down to Nottingham for the #NottsBBmeet. I used to live there back in the good old days, but it has changed a lot from what I can remember in regards to better shops and attractions. We were all prepared for stormy weather but we couldn’t have been happier when the bright shinning sun coming out to greet us.
Sophia from Tattooedtealady organised the whole meet up along with Sophie from Candy Cane Heart, Jessie from The Bode Boutique and Amiiee from It’s Amiieeism, which was retail therapy for the day section and a meal at TGI’s in the evening.

In groups, we were given the chance to find out more about Kiehls as a brand, look around the shop and get a skin consultation. Sipping on drinks and munching on some very cute cupcakes, we were content.
I bought the MRC this week in the Leeds Kiehls store 🙂 |

After the MAC store, Boots, Space NK and other shops were raided by beauty bloggers, we called it a day and we were all ready to fill our bellies!

When we got to TGI’s, we were all pleasantly surprised by the seating plan arrangements, a name card and goody bags in our seats. It was the cutest thing seeing everyone wide eyed like it was Christmas!

The first round of drinks were half price, so everyone knocked themselves out! I treated myself to the virgin blueberry moijito… mmm
Why have I never been to TGI’s before? The food was finger licking gooood!
In between meals, prize draws were done to win some extra goodies which was a lovely little bonus to the huge massive bags of goodies we already got.
I was really looking forward to this meet up for a while and it really did not disappoint me in the slightest. I met lovely blogger friends who were genuinely nice and we will definitely keep in touch 🙂
Meet ups are a great way of meeting other like minded bloggers regardless of the goody bags that may or may not come with them. If they do, that’s just an added bonus. I have been lucky to attend a few meet ups since blogging and I don’t regret going to any!
